Richard Thompson, March 2, 2007
I discretely snapped some images of legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist Richard Thompson when he visited Conroe, TX, of all places. He put on a great show in a small, 300 seat theater. I pre-set my old Olympus C-4040 digicam to ISO 400, shutter speed 1/100, and hoped for the best. That camera has a "fast" lens, and being able to shoot at f2.6 while zoomed all the way (to 105mm equivalent in 35mm format) was key.
I culled the best of the 40 shots and you can see them below.
