Wildlife near my parent's place: Lansing, Michigan in the summer of 2006.
Be sure to check out the wild turkey shots, below. They are "funny looking" for sure!
Wild Turkey | Lots of wildlife in the morning: deer & turkey | Wild Turkeys at the Neighbor's |
Bunny Gil clarifies: an Eastern cottontail, Sylvilagus floridanus | Young Buck | Doe & Fawn The does lick the fawns... I'm not sure it's always the parents, perhaps an aunt? |
The deer posed for a nice group shot... | Madeline and my parents on the boat and the Grand River | Bird Pictures from Michigan here. |
All images used the Nikon D100 DSLR; cropped, resized, and lightly tweaked in Photoshop. Most of the wildlife shots: Nikon Nikkor 80-200 ED AF zoom lens, sometimes with a Tamron 1.4x SP AF Tele-converter, ISO1600.
