Argiope with Captured Dragonfly

Our backyard spider captured this dragonfly as the sun was setting on a hot August night. Nikon D810A, 200mm macro lens, f9, 1/320s at ISO 1250.
The orange prey made it a lot easier to see this well camouflaged spider, August 2016. A top view of the spider, post dinner, is on this page.
